Author Topic: How to Port Maps?  (Read 2715 times)

I want to know how I can port maps like say maps made in vanilla. Can you tell  me how, please?

you put the .ter and .mis files on a zip with all the content the map uses.

However, it takes painful time to get the textures, skybox, sun, lighting and all that crap right.

i will post a picture of a ported map later..

Autumn pond has already been ported. It doesn't look like it's on RTB anymore but it's just a matter of tracking down a copy of it and putting it back up.

It was made by Ephialtes, Kaje, Mocheeze and myself, although I don't recall doing much. You can find our IDs on the RTB ID list.

explain a little more, I almost have a clear view on what I need to do.

Vanilla had some cool maps.

I'm getting the hang of it! Expect a perfect port of all the old RTB maps sometime later :D

I got the terrain done, and the preview image (complete stuff, remaking), but I can't get the loving water to work. Or the skybox. Help me, and you're awesome.

I am also having trouble with "Description.txt". Keep in mind that this is my first Add-On. Dumb it down for me.

Also, how to I save it so it will work?
