Author Topic: Should I upgrade my laptop?  (Read 2183 times)

It's because you snooty rich friends are used to 60 FPS.
Hell I am.

Once you play any game for even a few seconds at 60 FPS you can't play it any other way, it just nags you all the time while playing the game.

I envy you, but not your "snooty rich friendry."
...wait, I don't know if I worded that right.
Whatever, you get the point.

Hah.

Model detail = High
Texture = High
Shader = Low.

Modified first post.

You won't be able to get past the main menu in Fallout 3 because of your Intel graphics. Even if it did work, it would run terribly due to not only a bad graphics chip, but a terrible processor (Intel Celeron).

Time to get a new PC.

So, a new processor and graphics card will not work?

I'm assuming that this is a prebuilt computer which means it uses a special sized mobo. This means it is almost impossible to upgrade anything because I imagine that any decent cpu does not use the same socket.

Okay. Time for me to somehow try to fork up 1000 dollars. Probably near impossible for me.

What graphics card should I get?
I can't even play in Badspot's with draw distance 0.500.

It might be a bit more than that, but if you get some parts during a sale or soemthing then you might get it for cheaper.

My computer costed roughly around 1200, and I can run Crysis maxxed. For some reason EFLC doesn't agree with my computer though. DAMN ROCKSTAR AND THEIR BUGS!
