Author Topic: Microphone not appearing on list of devices?  (Read 853 times)

I disabled my microphone for privacy reasons in case it transmitted my voice to people I dont want it to.
However, I want it to be enabled for a friend of mine and when I look for it, it is not appearing
When I right click the sound icon on the taskbar and select "Recording devices" it doesnt appear.
Would it be in Device Manager in my Control Panel? I tried looking but not sure what section it would appear in

Right click in the recording tab and make sure it's set to display inactive things.

Some microphones don't show in devices, open up a private voxli and see if the voxli program can read it.

Don't post the voxli link though, I don't want my depiction of you spoiled, lol.

It wont bring up anything when I right click it
Do you mean right click the recordings tab when you select Recording Devices from the speaker thing in the taskbar?
