How to setup WORKING dedi

Hey, I've been wondering how these people setup there dedi servers, so I want to know how now.

Well for my Dedicated server, First off I have a spare computer in my other room, I DL Blockland onto the other computer, then I putted my Key in it, then exit BL, then theres a Button on the folder called Dedicated or something like that, when you open that, Your Dedicated server is up.

Run dedicated.bat (located in blockland folder).

To join the server from the same computer you must query lan.

All prerequisites of a normal server apply to dedicateds if hosting from same computer (port forward/UPnP)

Well....how do you setup one thats like if I leave can other people still join it?

Run that dedi.bat and it should launch like a console screen - That is the server.... I was saying if you want to join it you have to query lan.
