Buying a new PC, how long will these specs last me?

alright, so I'm getting myself a new gaming pc, and I'm wondering if these specs would last me a good 2-3 years, or if I need to go a bit further.

Intel i3 2.26 ghz processer
Windows 7
Nvidia geoforce gtx 260m 1gb graphics card
4gb of dual channel ram

comment, tell me what I need to improve if anything

You should probably get a 5850, just as good as the GTX just doesnt heat up as much

i3 is 2 cores.

Link me to this "GTX 260 with 1gb ram" Mine only has 896 or some stuff.

EDIT: The only thing I could recommend improving, would be the processor. dual cores are not for gaming that much anymore. At least high quality gaming, IMO.

as for processor, I thought dual cores were good for gaming, what should I get in that case?
