There's your problem. I spent 90 dollars for my editing software. Anyways here's some tips:

1. Don't be afraid to amplify your voice with audicity or your vid editor, it doesn't rape your voice quality that much.
2. If you want to know how to make an intro like mine just wait, I might make a tutorial video on how to make intros.
3. You're not alone! Ask for help with video editing! I do it alone but that doesn't mean you have to.

Well, I don't exactly have the dream funds right now

Did you even read my advice? It's not about the video editor. I barely even touched the potential of my video editor in the video. The only thing I used in my video with my editor that Windows Movie Maker can't do it the layered video boxes.
