If you don't want people doing this:
-Don't make areas where they cannot go to. It's pointless unless in a minigame. Which they shouldn't be able to get the Skis that way.
-Unless you're going to actually ski, disable them.
It's also a problem that cannot be fixed without having a tiny collision box, which would make actual skiing handicapped.
