I think that when you go to join a game it should say if you are banned from the server or not.

Corrected. You can't join a server if you are banned, only attempt to.

I think he means when you SELECT the server in the list. This is impossible without mods on both ends that are completely useless and unrequired. So what if they can see your fail join?

Just click join.
If you're banned, you wont get in.
If you're not banned, then you join it.
If you wanted to know if you were unbanned, but didn't want to join it, then stop worrying about pointless things.
