Apostrophe doesn't work :o

For some reason the apostrophe key doesn't work in Blockland. It works everywhere else except it.
What's wrong with it? There aren't any controls bound to it, I checked, and it also doesn't work in the IRC :o
(If it matters, I'm running Vista on the Alienware M17.)
