That's outer Detroit. Inner Detroit is more large buildings, abandoned apartment complexes, dark alleyways, and the Fox Theater.

It just goes to show how many people play Blockland and yet are too lazy to build full buildings.

Okay, here's the thing - Do you know how much lag there would be for some players if you built full-scale cities like these? And then had ANY spare bricks at all to build details?

These cities are good ideas, so we can build off of them. Maybe if there was a bit more building room inside buildings it would be better, but overall I like the maps. And not EVERY loving PLAYER has the building skills to build all of this with detail. Newer ones do have the capabilities to build good, and new players DO build good. But some newer ones don't take the time to add details to some things. And this doesn't just go for new players, some other players aren't very good builders too.

But read this now - I said SOME players, not EVERYONE lags when there's a large amount of bricks.

"less lag" is no excuse for using low quality content when you make addons for blockland.

And not EVERY loving PLAYER has the building skills to build all of this with detail. Newer ones do have the capabilities to build good, and new players DO build good. But some newer ones don't take the time to add details to some things. And this doesn't just go for new players, some other players aren't very good builders too.

And so you practice building full buildings, not go "oh lul i suck at building lets use this stuffty starter map"

GSF Maps were actually quite amazing feats, but not everyone likes the idea of only building your house's interior.

This is so loving true. It's one of the best maps to play in with zombies. I don't know what's wrong with you cigarettes.

I would like his stuff better if every building wasn't the exact same texture and then re-coloured.

If you're going to make a map based after a city, fine.
If you're going to make a map with pre-built bricks, fine.
If you're going to make a map with the exact same design to every single building other than it's basic shape, don't bother.

You don't go into servers and see every building made exactly the same. It's the a Brick-Stack design on everything.
If there were actual building styles shown in the map, they'd be pretty cool even if they were pre-built.
