Not exactly, since Badspot would be alerted to it and crack down on abusers. I do however, see your point. Writing about it could just make things worse. 1 hacker can be eliminated...24,000 hackers...hmm.

I agree, its highly unprofessional and dilutes the actual content badly. I think its quite clear I'm upset with some of the articles, though. And if they are deleting comments because they don't want contradicting opinion... mmm, thats some biased content control right there.
