Author Topic: Good game making software?  (Read 4745 times)

Although you should probably try to learn a programming language like basic, a very good introductory game making program called Scratch is something worth looking into. It is visual, so newbies can work with it easily.

Check it out and see if it fits your needs, but I highly recommend learning true programming as I was only 11 when I started using basic.

Forget that, I agree with the others if you want an advanced gui based game creator use game maker, its not hard to learn at all.

First of all, OP your stupid.
If you think Game maker is hard don't even try till you feel your smarter.

I like Source SDK, if you want to try it you need to buy a source game. (Just buy the loving orange box)

I knew how to make stuff in game maker when i was 8 :o

No. Scratch teaches you nothing about programming. You just drag and drop things.

I know that's why I just changed my post and besides I said nothing about teaching you programming, I just said its an option but its too basic for me, I just thought the OP might have some sort of luck with it.
