How2play D&D in class?  Dice rolling would be really hard to do during class.
Use a calculator that has the ability to create random numbers?

I guess.  But what about telling story?  DMing in general would be stuffty then.

I am considering getting that laptop.

There it is on newegg.

Few things: It IS a netbook, not a notebook.
It is small, tiny and VERY heat prone.

I don't own it yet (its out of stock because its really popular apparently), but the CPU is a dual core with hyper threading, making for 2 physical and logical cores. Nvidia ION is supposed to be pretty good over regular integrated video chips. It's like comparing Nvidia Tegra to the weird integrated graphics the iPod Touch uses.

This could technically run Source on medium settings at the bare but again I warn you it'll probably drain the battery (I'm probably going to buy two batteries just in case) and it'll heat up the laptop, so make sure you have a cooling pad.

gaming..... notebook?

i didnt think those 2 words could be in the same sentence.

isnt the best mobile nvidia card like the 330m right now?
it can play any game..... but........ eh

Gaming NETBOOK.

This netbook can handle it sort of. Nothing high end though like GTA4 maybe.

I didn't think the 330m was the best mobile chip though, is it?

i dunno about ati, i dont follow em.

but as of last month when i was looking around for an upgrade for my laptop, it was still the 330m that i have.

there is info on the 440m (or whatever that model was) on nvidia site, but the damn thing isnt for sale anywhere.

I don't think 440m has been released to manufacturers to design laptops with them yet even. They'll probably come in later around Spring 2011 maybe.

And yeah ATI is goofy.

Asus g50vt-x5, get it refurbished. Cheap and a great computer.

Hurr

Looks kinda ugly and bulky. But, that could be the horrible picture quality on the site.

EDIT: I found this on Newegg. Would it run TF2, Gmod, etc. well?

ATI is now AMD.
