Author Topic: Server Not Able to Connect to - Port forwarded, disabled UPnP, and Static IP  (Read 297 times)

For some reason, my server is no longer able to be connected to. It is port forwarded, with a static ip, and the Disable UPnP option is checked. What Is the problem? It does dysplay a --- ping, and when you try connecting, instead of trying to send punch packets like it used to, it just sits at Connecting to IP:Port. It is being hosted on a old desktop in my basement running Windows XP. As far as I know, --- doesn't mean dead, so I don't know what the problem is. Quote from Ephialtes.

How do you know it's dead? If it has a ping of "---" that doesn't mean it's dead.
Thanks for your help.

If all of those things you said are working then you wouldn't have this problem.
