Server crashes

Sometimes I host a ZAPT Dam server, and it usually gets around ten people. But when it gets around 12 people, it soon freezes up for an infinite time. This happens whenever i make a server that gets around that much people. I am using a Macbook with Mac OS X 10.6.4. And i am using a Logitech mouse that looks like this:

It is known that when a press the side scroll button, Blockland crashs for some reason. But i was not touching it when it froze up. Anyone know about it?

Well, sometimes when i am using blockland it freezes, but doesn't crash. That happens when i perform an action, like clicking the "players" button in "Join server". That just happened.
Also, it has frozen up like that at 7 people.
