Nuclear weapons operate by fission of uranium and other elements. The fission is triggered by a neutron colliding with a uranium atom and in turn, that atom splits and sends out more neutrons, which causes a chain reaction. Maybe if you read the article more, you'd have figured that out.

I already knew that nuclear bombs contain uranium plates, that which, when the bomb goes off, turn into a radioactive dust known as fallout.
In an atomic bomb, there is a cone of uranium, and a ball of uranium, upon the bombs impact, the ball is smashed into the cone which, starts the reaction.
And fallout is not just a fancy dust.
