Author Topic: Are any of these Laptops Good for games?  (Read 1335 times)

Seriously, what's wrong with desktop PCs.
I tend to agree, I don't like laptops. :l

This. I have an M11X, and it's great. Other people might say "no it turrble", but that's because they're expecting it to outperform a super 1337 desktop that can "run cryses at liek 99999999 fps". It isn't a monster, but if you're looking for something that can run most modern games pretty well on medium-high settings, then get an M11X.

I get ~50 FPS on Oblivion/Fallout3/New Vegas on Ultra High, Source games ~75 FPS on Highest settings 2X AA, and I'm sure it can easily handle anything else on high except Crysis 1/2.

M11x is quite small though, which is why I took the m14x. Medium and great.

I didn't buy a laptop for gaming, I bought it to get stuff done on GIMP n' stuff while traveling. If I buy a PC Game fir my laptop, I make sure it supports a joystick.

Ah. In my eyes i'd just get another Tablet PC if I had to work on the go.
