Storytime, everyone.

IT WAS unfortunate that I could not observe the event which caused the fire, but I have managed to scavenge some details from the City Hall and other sources. I have contributed my own point of view from this story and from some pictures I took afterward. This is the tale of the Beta City Fire.
In some of the remains of ancient texts from the Museum, I have found the tale of an all-powerful weapon called the Mini-Nuke which was created long ago but was banished by the god of wrath, Badspot. The Blockhead tribe, otherwise known as "Noobs", worshipped this weapon. On the night of the Great Fire, the surviving Blockheads assembled at their temple to perform a ritual to resurrect this great weapon using the idol from the Museum. Little did they know this was a fake; the real one was stored deeper in the museum, disguised as the Bloscar award. They began the ritual at 12:00 midnight. Badspot, watching from above, was angered by their insolence and set their temple on fire.
I found this picture among the remains of a crashed Scramjet.

It was taken during the ritual, just before Badspot unleashed his wrath.
I was resting comfortably in the Facechild house that night when I heard a great, thunderous explosion. It was unlike anything I had heard in my life. I rushed outside to find the Blockheads' Temple on fire! I gathered up my things and headed to the Museum to rescue the Idol. I entered through the same hole the Blockheads did, and hung onto the ceiling. Suddenly, the floor turned red. I had to rescue the Idol before it burned! I dangled above it and grabbed it. Then, just as the ceiling caught fire, I thrust myself through the burned-down door. I ran along the charred remains of the road, passing by the Fire Station, ironically already reduced to blackened rubble. Passing by the Temple of Healing, I saw that there was no more left of it than merely foundations; the privilege of everlasting health has been taken away from us. I climbed up to the top of the Facechild House and jumped over the fire to run into Beta Tower.
I ran up the stairs frantically. When I reached the top, the fire was already on the fifth floor. I then realized that there was no escape from the top; that I was doomed here on top of the tower. But wait! The window-washing platform contained an emergency Jetpack! I slid down the rope just as the roof caught. I put on the jetpack, prepared for the rope to burn. It snapped, and I flew away, viewing the remains of the "Beta City" sign become blackened and charred. I write this from my small shack I have built on Facechild's Llama Reservation. Enclosed with this story are pictures of the aftermath. May it leave you with hope, providence, and above all, the knowledge to never anger Badspot.[tl;dr]: Here are photos of Halcynthis's Fire Mod after being unleashed on the Beta City:

For those that haven't tried the mod out yet, please do! Sometimes it spreads real fast and can be really fun and exhilarating.
I haven't tried zor's mod out, though, so please send me a link if you have it.
