I know what you mean, but you could still say, "What would win in a fight," when referring to nouns. A noun is a person, place, or object.

Example:

What would win in a fight?
1) Gun
2) Pistols Akimbo
3) Ion Cannon

Pistols akimbo, the Ion Cannon takes a good 15 seconds to charge up which is enough time to blast the hell out of the person.
