Author Topic: Magnifying glass Laser?  (Read 4006 times)

If you're that set on burning something, just use fire. :/
But Its really interesting in seeing things be burned from the sun, using a laser like contraption, hasn't every kid wished to have lasers? Except for Korea, they already have those.. >.>

And With the house burning, Im sure I can use it properly enough to not aim towards a building. And I think I'll have to have the sun going directly into it, or it won't work, not just slanted.

hmm, if you're not going to cheat with matches, what about lighting the matches with it?

Thats fine, as long as Im using the magnifying glass laser to set it on fire =P

Magnifying glasses work by focusing light. Adding additional lenses will not increase the intensity of beam and won't result in a laser.

If you are interested in burning things with lasers, you can quite easily purchases lasers strong enough to light matches and pop balloons. More powerful lasers are difficult to obtain and typically illegal to own.
