Author Topic: My blockland server and the website it hosts.  (Read 943 times)

Yes, it's the one that got drama'd, but since then it's gotten better.
Currently it's an afghan tf2 classes ctf tdm, but it changes from time to time.
It's completely dedicated and I'm there a lot, it hasn't dropped below 10 people in over three hours.

But what made me post the topic more than anything is I made a website for the server with truce's script.
The website is hosted by the server, so it's only up when the server is up because it's actually hosted from the Blockland server.
The website itself is syerjchep.org
If you follow one of the links you can actually get free items in game, I thought that was the coolest feature I've made so far.
You can also check people's pings on one page.
See a chat log on another.
And see how many people are playing and a full list of their names and scores on the main page.

So I thought that was interesting enough to share, check out the site and give me your ideas on how to improve the server.

just used the website, and nice score

Nice. It would be interesting if you'd release the code. A lot of BLers have websites.

Lol, Truce has a lower ping than you on your own server:

Truce has a ping of 73

DrenDran has a ping of 81

I posted my webserver script here:

Yeah, that contains the stuff that executes the pages.
After that it's really easy actually, I'm just fortunate that I have my own domain assigned to the VPS that blockland is on.
