Author Topic: Players freeze then mass disconnect? (Read 767 times)

Title basically says it all. While in my server, about 15/20 people will freeze then disconnect. When I ask them what happened they said that they got an "Authentication error." This started on Monday and I can't figure out whats going on. I'll get a picture of the console next time it happens.

Didn't you hear about all this master server 'ho har'? Entire server lists are dropping, you're not the only one. Or at least I think that's it. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

This has happened in my server too. I think it is this mater server 'ho har.'

When I say a whole server list I mean AN ENTIRE server list. Not just a single server. Hurp Durp... :)

It was more that the server became EXTREMELY slow, to the point 97% of the time you'd get connection errors. Some people stayed because their connections waited it out and held on.

No its not possible, it just started recently :c

Actualy I wonder if changing router cords could have anything to do with it but idk thats probley not it :c

No that is the problem.

Everyone freezes because your server lags, your server happens to also be lagging when it does authentication checks.
When the lag stops, it tells these people that they couldn't authenticate.

so what do I do? Restore my computer to a few weeks ago?
