Author Topic: Blockland crash on server start.  (Read 1411 times)

Hi.
Not too long ago, I was about to host a server. While I was waiting for it to load, I just stared at the console log. Then, after 30 seconds or more, I get an error message:
"Blockland could not write to cache database.

This can be caused by running the game from a read-only directory or CD-ROM."

And in the console, the very last thing it said before I closed out, said:

"ERROR: Blobcontainer::snapshotBuffer() - sqllite error 11".
What's going on?

Bump.
Come on people. I really want to play Blockland again.  :panda:

BUMP! PLEASE DEAR GOD, LET SOME PEOPLE SEE MY SITUATION AND ACTUALLY RESPOND AND HELP ME SO THAT I CAN FREAKING PLAY BLOCKLAND! AAARRRGGGH! =_=.

i dont.
What?

Can you install another fresh copy of blockland without any addons at all and see if it works?

I tried running a server with only default add-ons and it still didn't work. I'm going to try Isjix's method and see if it works.

Btw, do you mean only default add-ons or no add-ons enabled at all?

either should work i think.

If it helps, i've added the console log.

I get it too. Check out the other 2 topics about this in help :P

Make sure blockland is not installed to the program files directory, and you have at least a gigabyte of free space.
If that dosn't work, tell me your OS, how much free space you have left, and your install directory.

Whats program files. I got mac, it's in Applications.

It's because I have a PC. By the way, I checked how much space I have; 109GB. And what do you mean by,
blockland is not installed to the program files directory,
?

[Sorry for double post.]

I mean, I know that it's in Program Files. But where else is it to be installed to?

Hmm...I have an idea:re-download Blockland! C:
