Author Topic: i have an Acer Aspire 5741. Will it run Fallout 3?  (Read 2357 times)

i have this laptop and well i would like to know if it can run Fallout 3. I have always wanted to buy a new graphics card for it but the graphics card in built into the motherbored so sad face for me :( But yes i would like to know if it can run Fallout 3 as in the steam store Fallout 3 is now only 20$.

Graphics: Intel® HD Graphics with 128 MB of dedicated system memory, supporting Microsoft® DirectX® 10

Most likely not.
Fallout 3 doesn't work with any Intel cards unless you modify the game and make the graphics all terrible.

I ran it on my laptop with an Intel built in graphics card. It ran without any problems.
Except I only got 1 or 2 FPS, but that's only because it's integrated.

i didn't even look at specs.
i just seen it was a laptop that costs less then $1500

no it wont run that/nearly any game

sounds to me like a MAJOR problem.
having the game startup does not mean the computer can run it.

learn to computer lingo

I didn't run into any problems like errors, or freezing, or people exploding.
It ran.
Even though I only got a couple FPS, it still ran without any problems.
FPS isn't a problem in the program, well it can but it wasn't that, It's just whether your computer can handle it.

no...

when people say their computer can run a game, it means its playable.
you can get a 10 year old computer to start up a modern game, that is not considered "running" it

no one debates this. its the common terminology for computer users.

running a computer game is when you have no lag no problems and it runs smoothly no randome texture glitches

so im guessing it can not run it :(
