Author Topic: Can you store a rubber egg in water?  (Read 743 times)

Ok, I just made a rubber egg (just put vinegar in a jar with the egg for 48 hours) and I'm wondering if I can store it in water so it wont smell like vinegar as much. I need the answer quick.

No?

 Wait, maybe saltwater.

Seriously, saltwater or water?

Are you just going to wash the vinegar off the surface?

Please better explain what your problem is.

Yeah, put it in a sealed container with water. Try to avoid warm places too.

Yeah its fine. You'll notice that it will get bigger if you measure the diameter before and after. And becareful because the egg isnt like that all the way through. The rubbery part is just what you see. The inside is still liquid!

Saltwater would dry it out, don't listen to that doofus.

Gasoline mixed with oil sitting over a fire in a small tin.

Yeah, put it in a sealed container with water. Try to avoid warm places too.
