Author Topic: How do you check specs on Windows 7?  (Read 967 times)

If I recall you have to type something into the search to see it. Can anyone tell me?

Right Click "Computer" > Properties > Device Manager

You'll only properly see the list if you have the correct drivers for your hardware.

Can't find my graphics card.

Should be display drivers or something.

If it shows up as a question mark then that means you have outdated drivers or no drivers at all.

I do believe so. It's a crappy desktop render if you're wondering. Don't expect to run anything fancy.

When you open up the start menu, type in the area that has 'Search programs and files' labeled on it, and type in dxdiag, this will run the Direct X Diagnosis Tool which will scan your computer, and show most (if not all) of your specs

thanks masterlego
