To think, I was just browsing some of the older WIMP videos.
And I stumbled upon this.
It's like you found the Holy Grail!

:I

I wanna see if any Brits here have heard of them.
I've never heard of them at all, but bare in mind that I don't monitor the news every hour of every day, and I'm only a teenager, so it's likely that things whizz by without my acknowledgment.
Interesting, though.

I don't watch the news, either.
I used to watch Fox occasionally, but then they started to show Glenn Beck too much, and all he talks about are politics.
I don't care for politics.

there are a lot of businesses bigger then MS. ones not in any spotlight.
no big deal.

That was just for comparison of Chrome's spell checker.

I usually watch the BBC News. They're not supposed to be politically biassed, but ocassionally it get's through, but they're almost generally reliable.
Luckily, we don't have as many News Channels as you do, so we don't have a set news channel for every single political view.
If anything, there's only 3 main news channels.
BBC, ITV and Sky, which tries way too much to be American. American News Channels are just too flashy, with too much on the screen. You can't just be told the news.

On the topic of having more, you can't really blame us.
Compare the sizes of the UK and US.
And I agree, there's a lot of useless stuff on some of the news channels.

Yeah, I understand the size difference, but I still reckon countries, regardless of how big, should have a national news channel that gives the people information.
Unfortuantely, all news is connected to politics, so, it's hard or nigh on impossible to give out fair news.
Not to mention, News is a very easy way of delivering Propoganda.
Take North Korea as an example of that. All News is controlled by the government (Albeit a tyrannical one) and the people in the country don't know what's going on in the world.

You can't really win. Too many news channels, everyone has widespread different views and there's a lot of false information travelling around.
Too little news channels or a unified one, there's a lot of propoganda for the entire nation.
