Don't you hate the IPhone 4's spellcheck? I was writing deathmatch on an Iphone today, and it came up like this: deathwatch

Yeah it can be very annoying on my ipod. I wish they made it so you had to hit something instead of it being automatic.

While I agree that it is very annoying, you can simply backspace to the end of the autocorrected word and a little popup will appear above it with the spelling of the word before it was autocorrected. Tap it and the word will change back to what it was. This is, of course, assuming you have iOS 4, which it sounds like you do.
