Author Topic: Are these possible with VCE?  (Read 448 times)

This is for a FamilyRPG I have planned. Not a crappy one, but a good, VCE'd, monitored one.
So are these possible using VCE/other mods?

Growth. Suppose every 10 minutes, you get a message saying "You Grew!" and your player scale increases %20.

Reproduction. When 2 people of the opposite gender (vars) touch a certain brick (bed brick) there is a %20 chance of the female becoming pregnant, and a half hour later, the baby is born, letting another player from the waiting room into the game as an infant. During birth, there is a %5 percent chance of the woman dying.

Pets. Is it possible, using VCE, to have a realistic "pet" thing?

So are any of these possible?

Oh, and more. After lets say, 3 hours of nonstop gameplay, you will die, and will be sent back to the waiting room to be reborn as a new player.

Also, I'm 99% sure the following is possible:

Food. If a player doesn't eat every 1/2 hour, they will start to slowly lose health.

BUT. What about JOBS?

If certain standards are met, a player will get a "job" where they must go to a certain place every ingame day, perform a certain task and every, say 15 minutes, a player earns "cash" which can be spent on food (see above post)

Damnit, I hate there is no modify.

2 more.

Marriage: If 2 people agree through some sort of VCE setup, they can get married at a large ceremony at either the beach, their house, or the church. Once married, they can have children, go on a honeymoon, and more.

Crime: There would be 3 crimes:

Murder: Killing another player if you are not a Police Officer.

Rape: Getting another player knocked up if you and her are not married.

Theft: Stealing food goods, a car, or pets.

Seems to me like you need a script here, not VCE. I don't think half these things are possible with VCE, and if they are a script would be less complicated.

Ok. I'll give em a try though.

Reproduction would quite accomplish-able.

Any of the ideas you have said "every {howeverlong}" wouldn't be very nice to do in VCE, it would involve loops on multiple players and just get a bit nasty.

If instead of every 15mins they get cash, you made it so once they had completed a task they get money, the jobs would be accomplish-able.

However pretty much what Wesley said;
