Author Topic: More computer trouble yay  (Read 963 times)

I'm trying to run Fallout 3 GotYE and after a few minutes of gameplay, everything but the sound will freeze up and it will stop responding.

I've tried:
  • Updating drivers,
  • Running Steam in compatibility mode with Vista,
  • Running Fallout3.exe in compatibility mode with Vista,
  • Running both at the same time in blah you get it,
  • Changing settings to lowest,
  • Using that "game booster" software,
  • Changing it to windowed mode (like that'd do anything).

Help?  :C

give it a santa hat, maybe it'll work

how did you run both at the same time in "blah you get it.exe"

Fallout 3 gave me the same stuff and I got about the same setup. Great game, bad... software.

I do apologise with the four page bump here, however the thread is merely a day old, so I trust it's forgivable.  I am currently reinstalling the game; not sure if it will do anything, but I've worth a try.

ou, that's not what I meant :P
I didn't feel like writing it out again :3

Problem persists.  Anybody wanna help me?

Never had any major problem with the Fallout series.

Not for a second will my computer play games from a disc. Thank goodness there's Steam. But sadly that would mean I'd have to buy the damn game a fourth time. Once for PC then it broke, once for 360, a second time for 360 when I got Game of the Year, and another for getting Fallout 3: GotY on Steam... I say forget it.

And like I said earlier, same thing happened to me and I don't know what to do. Best of luck to you though.

I just bought it with no problems. I would suggest updating fallout. I don't believe that Steam gives you the most recent version.
