Author Topic: Computer Building Woo!  (Read 492 times)

Yeah, I know there's a million threads already about computer builds, but I've decided to post one anyway. Anyway, I've been saving my money for about a year and I've finally got enough to build my computer. I'll be buying half of the parts from Newegg and the other half from my local Micro Center, as they're having excellent sales right now on some parts. Here are the parts:

Processor: Intel Core i5-760
Case: Cooler Master HAF 922
Motherboard: Asus P7P55D-E LX
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB
PSU: OCZ StealthXStream 600W Modular
HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda
Graphics Card: Sparkle GeForce GT 430
ODD: Samsung OEM DVD-RW
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium OEM

Overall, with tax and shipping, this will cost me about 780 bucks. Yay. Post your opinions on this build.

The GPU is a bit weak.

Get a smaller HDD and put more money towards the GPU.

I don't really do very much gaming, but I eat up hard drive space like crazy.

You know why you take up hard drive space? Because you download to many games, right?

No. I barely play any games other than Minecraft, Blockland, and occasionally The Sims 3. Oh, and Cave Story.

still,500-750 will do a while.
