I formatted it because it said 3.25 GB full when there was nothing in there

then this stuff happened and now I need help getting it fixed, it won't let me reformat.

its my friends USB and he needs it back tomorrow

did that, now what happened next is that it doesn't say "4GB free" or something like that at all and there are no files in there and I cannot put anything in there.
