Author Topic: Datablocks  (Read 941 times)

What I said meant that you could not open the script files. I didn't say you couldn't get the datablocks through another method.

I re-read the topic post, and everything is confusing now. I noticed you were saving datablocks, which confused me since you were just talking about .dso files and getting their data. It feels all mixed up... I'm just going to leave this topic, I don't get it.

It's pretty sure what the OP meant was every datablock class
It would be pretty pointless to want a guide of every single datablock in the game considering a lot of them are just slight modifications of others.

I talked about .dso files because he was asking about finding every datablock in script files.

He didn't want a guide of them. He just wanted to find the datablocks in the scripts.

I could probably list all the datablock classes.

I don't remember everything he explained but I'm pretty sure it wasn't quite that old because he explained how to do funky things with lights/lasers. I tried searching for it but couldn't find it. It was really really really really really really really really really long too..

I got that part when I re-read it. What confuses me is that the found in a script part of "every datablock found in a script" seemed more like a note. Since he's so unspecific, it doesn't seem to be what's important to the question he asked. As such, seeing detailed chatter on .dso files confused what this topic was about.
