So my Internet router and stuff are in the room next to mine. The Receiver in my room is no less than 20 feet away from the Modem. When i connect to my House's network, it takes forever for it to connect. Then it says "Excelent" but the connection is terrible. And now it wont even connect. What do I do D:

Did you try your computer next to the router?


Also, how old is your house?

Try resetting it.
i.e. turn off router and modem, wait ~30 seconds, turn on modem(?), wait another 30 sec, turn on router(?).

i believe it's that order. This sort of thing happens all the time to me. Or at least it did.

If the connection itself is excellent, I usually assume the modem is screwing up.
