Author Topic: Hosting Issues...  (Read 515 times)

I started a dedicated server today. I have lots of mods that are disabled. Usually when I host dedicated, it just uses the addons enabled. But today, it loaded THEM ALL. (kind of annoying, considering there's Hungermod, Cashmod, CityRPG etc). I heard to start a regular server then close it would fix it. Right as it is about to bring up the loading screen, "Blockland Has Quit unexpectedly."

I think its a one time thing, so I try again.
"Blockland Has Quit unexpectedly."

So I do it again, but the time I try Trace(1); it doesnt do anything. Even though it's singleplayer, instead of crashing, it brings up a Connecting To Local Host message and never does anything.

Help!

OWAIT! THERES MOAR!
After trying to quit now, the Quit button did NOTHING!

Here's the console log for the main part of the post.
Owait, console log too big.

Dedicated servers automatically load every add-on.

Dedicated servers automatically load every add-on.
I don't think so. For me, I can open a normal blockland, select the addons I want on the dedicated, open a server and let it load, close that, then open the dedicated. Then it'll have what I enabled.

Dedicated servers automatically load every add-on.
The dedicated servers load whatever the system tells them to load, so halcynthis is right. If an add-on is not marked, it will not be executed.

Also, you're trying to load ALL those add-ons at once? They can conflict with another, or cause massive crash-worthy lag.

Ahh, nevermind. Why do I never read the whole topic? ;_;

Oh, because there was soo much to read.

Bump

  Um, well, that was kinda a funny pointless bump. XD
