Can't Plant Bricks

I tried to plant a brick using the default numpad enter and nothing happened. So I tried using numpad enter in other programs, and it works fine. So it's not my keyboard. So the next obvious step was to re-map the plantbrick command to another key. It still didn't work, so it's a game issue. Any suggestions?

Check the controls....

check correctly if you used the right Seed, check if you added water and sand sand too in the pot, and wait some time and here you are, your brick was born! And you can plant it everywhere

now you can plant it in your gardens or you can just use it for building
