Well, I think it's time to start saving from work and instead of blowing it on me and my friends, save. Since I know the forums would be able to help me out on this, any ideas on what I should get? Post pictures of computers please if you do post!  Oh, I'm on my IPad. Sorry for my grammar, I got this for school, quick loading with easily accessible notes. Don't flame my ass for owning one.

Why laptop? Pc is a better choice.

I'm at my friends house more often then mine. Were working on some stuff, I will use a desktop though ONLY if they have cord. Which is to plug it in. I also assume you mean a "tower" or something close to your "Get a PC"

Why am I getting this feeling that you know jack stuff about computers?

I just want to have some idea's on good computers with lots o' RAM, Gaphics cards ext. I'm not your average "computer junkie" though I do know enough about them.

Exactly how much money did you spend on this laptop?

Firstly, don't try to talk like you know anything about computer hardware because you clearly don't. You can't exactly have more than one graphical processor in a laptop unless (somehow) the motherboard of the laptop supports SLI or Crossfire through two integrated chipsets. Secondly being the fact that 4 to 8 GB of RAM is enough and anything over that is just pointless, considering the fact that you want "lots of" it.

Now that I am finished my rant I can give you suggestions on computers to buy.

Are you looking for a laptop that is good for PC gaming, or are you looking for something that you can take around with you? You can only pick one.

PC gaming preferable, and RantRantRantRant

PC gaming wise, you might as well get a desktop because you simply can't bring a gaming laptop around with you. An example would be the AlienWare M11X: The battery life is outstanding when you're on the desktop. Get into a game, play for 10 minutes and then it's dead.

If you were to get a desktop PC (or in your terms, "tower" PC), you'd have the maximum ability to game with infinite power as well as customisability if you want to change anything inside the PC.

I have my laptop always plugged it. It keeps the batterie life longer incase you have to go with out power.
