My friend got BL but internet isnt working

My friend just got blockland, shes a girl BTW, and whenever she starts blockland it won't connect to the internet, always offline, she doesn't even have any add-ons either! I asked if internet was connected, yes it was, in fact she can even go on internet explorer no prob there, whats going on?

The firewall is probably strict as hell. I forgot how, but i know there's a way to allow programs through the firewall.

This happens to me often, but not always. Probably firewall.
