More computer problems: GTA IV wont load

So here's my story:

I finally got Live to work. I went to http://GamesForWindows.com/en-us/download/ and downloaded the latest version of live. I was then able to finally login into Live and update GTA IV.
I closed GTA IV and restarted my computer (because of the update). I started GTA IV and went to the loading screen, here it then proceeded to doing nothing. It shows the slide of pictures of the characters but it never finished loading. After 2 minutes the music stops playing. I've sat about an hour waiting for it but it does absolutely jackstuff.

What should I do?

Have you tried asking your computer if something is wrong?

The game was working just fine, without problems until this update occured, then thats where the problems happened.

Is that link broken or is it just me?
