Author Topic: Another Computer Issue - Extreme lag when I try to use it.  (Read 638 times)

It used to happen never, or very minimal times. But just a few minutes ago, my computer suffered from this massive lag attack, that I will now describe:
  • Lag happens whenever I press any key.
  • The frozen screen of this attack lasts about 3 seconds after I press the key.
  • The attacks only happen when 2gigs (50%) of my RAM is being used.
  • It interferes with ALL programs. And I mean ALL.

The only cause I can think of is a virus, or the fact my computer freezes if left on a while without any action input.

I'll only run a virus scan if you guys think it's a virus because Norton 360 is slower than a bucket of snails, and is unreliable. Plus, I've used up 200g's of HD, and it takes a unneeded amount of time minutes to scan an 700mb Blockland folder.

Norton 360 is slower than a bucket of snails, and is unreliable.
You got that right.

Might I also mention, my RAM usage is at 33% and CPU at 4%.

Bump because I need help.
Also, I'll run virus scans tonight when I go to sleep.
Should be done by morning.
