Author Topic: Evolution or creationism?  (Read 5166 times)

How many people have fought over religion so far?
Hm your right never mind :)

Person 1: Let's ask 11 year olds about the bible.

Person 2: Sure ok.

Add an option for both creation and evolution. Nevermind, I didn't realize that this became a religion war. How foolish of me.

Quick!

Crack or cocaine  :cookieMonster:

Do I have to choose?
Doesn't matter which one if you choose or not.

Other. A cross between evolution and creationism, with a bunch of other stuff (about 2% other stuff).

Evolution is a theory in the same way that gravity is a theory. We know it works, we know how it works, but we don't know all of the details. Creationism is absurd.

Actually, we cannot prove anything. Thus, everything is a theory. Scientists see things as never being 100% certain. You may be 99.999...% certain, but never completely. I know that the word "theory" is used differently in everyday life and in scientific usage, but there is a reason why scientists will not say that they have proven anything.

You don't know what you're talking about.

You don't know what you're talking about.
Yes, I do. I tried to make it not sound like I didn't know what I was talking about, but it was difficult (still is) because my brain wouldn't (and won't) let me. My brain is tired. Everything I am thinking makes sense to me, but if I try to say it out loud the way it sounds in my head, it gets extremely confusing.

I don't know what I thought of saying at the beginning of writing this post, but I know... bah, my brain won't let me say anything right. Now I forgot what I was trying to say in the second part (right before the "..."). Meh. Ignore my confusionisms.

I don't know what you're thinking about.

Hate to burst your bubble but statistically you're still wrong if you think evolution is false. There's more evidence for evolution then there is evidence for germ theory, for most chemistry-related theories, and for a lot of stuff in physics. It's THE big loving honcho of theories. Creationism and handicapped "opinions" are way out of its league. If you don't think evolution is correct, then you are 99.99999...% wrong, which is quite litterally the most wrong you will ever be about anything ever.
