System restore?
I got it about four years ago and I got the best computer possible.

It was running fine, as I said earlier, until the update on 3/1/11, but I can't find a way to revert b--fasf.

Hold on let me see if I have a system restore point that's recent enough not to wipe everything I've done that's important in the last few months.

system restore doesn't start up in safe mode, what the heck is wrong with microsoft and certain programs running as a background program.

just took a long time

Well shoot.

The latest restore point for some reason is yesterday.

also i'm currently in normal boot with no current problems, but i probably will run into some. it's going somewhat slowly but i was also just installing updates. :o

Just format if you forgeted it up so badly.

Or repair the operating system with your windows CD.

For some reason I have no Windows CD.

I did nothing really.

As I have said numerous times

it happened after the 3/1/11 update.

._.'

Unless somehow everything went downhill while I was at school when some program updated or someone installed something.

sorry double post but

Questions.
I think I'm going to format my harddrive. So,

1) Will the default folders still exist? (Windows, Program files, default files, etc.)
2) Does Steam keep a record of what games you buy so you can install them if you delete them?
3) Does it help with registry errors and junk?

ok yes to all i think

And I don't know where my master CD is that came with my computer.

I'm sad now, wah.

Seeing about disk cleanup since I don't want to buy windows 7 or a new copy of windows vista which i will have to either way get all the new drivers and things for

OH LOL I'M DUMB.
Disk cleanup isn't what I thought it was but definitely may help.

OK SO

I cleared some dust off my nVidia cards and stopped some processes at login that are not needed and I never use anyways.

Let's see what happens.
