Author Topic: Requesting Speech-To-Text Program or API for Windows XP  (Read 266 times)

I have a very old computer. It still runs XP, and it doesn't have Speech Recognition added in later versions that had Office XP by default. Finding a download for it now costs $250 and comes with more crap than I need. All I want is the Speech Recognition engine that goes with it, but all tutorials require you get the official Microsoft Software.

It's likely you'll all just suggest other programs. I actually want this for the novelty of bad recognition, but anything will do. I just wish to have some program that does Speech-to-Text translations.

I know one. It's called a keyboard  :cookieMonster:

All jokes aside, good recog programs cost money. There are no free ones.

I don't need a good one. I just remember hearing of odd translations they'd do. Example: http://www.bash.org/?265532 .
