Counter Strike 1.6 being dumb

So, I tried to launch CS1.6 after I rebooted and it didn't work. It played the music and showed the background but the words didn't appear and if you clicked on the background, it stopped responding.

What do I do? I can't play it, and it's ticking me off. A fresh install didn't work either.

Why would you want to play 1.6 if you don't have internet on your PC?

Fullscreen is black with music.

EDIT: Changing to -d3d -gl or -soft doesn`t work.
