Server weirdness.

Okay so when I start a regular server, my ping is either ??? or --- Yes I know what these mean.
Then when I open the dedicated command and start a server with that, I join it and my ping isn't dead or unknown.
And people can join. Is there anyway to fix this?

Try port-forwarding. I'm having a problem like this, but I haven't tried hosting on a dedi yet.

Yeah I know about port-forwarding I have already done it. I used to be able to host servers fine, I think I broke my BL I may redownload.
