Vanishing game act?

So I went to install a game, (FSX for you specifics people), and I played it, quit, came back a little later to go at it again. Its not on the desktop or my Start menu, I search my computer for it, its not there. I go to reinstall it, and it gives me this message saying "Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime." what. the. forget.

My anti-virus deleted prototype several times without any prompt.

Might be that, try turning your anti-virus off for a bit.
