iTunes usually sells songs for $0.99 or $1.99, its more common then going to a store.

If you get Firefox, you can get an addon called Adblock Plus. If you enable it, it removes ads from sites and such. Even Pandora. You're pretty much getting Pandora's premium package, with the exception of unlimited listening time.
