Author Topic: I need a GPU  (Read 1815 times)

Do you really have to ave the GTX 570 why not this maybe: http://www.frys.com/product/6540583 its only 30$ over your budget.

I'm finding 560's for nearly $200 flat. It's hard to pay $80+ more.

A 560ti for $200 is pretty good.

I bought my 460 back in August for $200.

I'm considering this... very seriously.

Click for newegg page.

Twin frozr II. $244 with $20 rebate. I really like the idea of having one of the cooler cards... for overclocking purposes of course.

Looks amazing, those fans are really nice.

i'd just buy it, you cant go wrong.

I'll probably break down and order the twin frozr in the morning. Hell, I'll SLI in a few months if I end up needing more power. No big deal.

lol, I can run Crysis at 1024x768 on medium with 20 fps with no GPU.

I switched to ATI after having numerous driver problems on numerous computers with nVidia. Just saying.
But my 5850 kicks ass. If you look at some tests, the 5850's 6 series equivalent, the 6870, nearly matches the performance of the 560. Metro seems to be a bit biased towards nVidia GPU's.

so did your order it, bones?
