Author Topic: My Cable Box is a Candy Softener  (Read 382 times)

One day I was coming back from Texas and I had a bag of sour gummy worms with me on the plane which I had never finished. I had no other place to put it, plus the fact that I was tired, so I just put them on top of the cable box, which has heat coming out of the top.

Coming back from school the next day, I discovered that they became very soft and very warm. This should be an obvious conclusion to come to with the previously stated information in mind, but it makes things taste so much better. My gummy worms used to be hard to chew, and then I had no trouble eating them.

I have a pack of skittles on the box right now. :3

Gummy Worms shouldn't be hard in the first place, dammit.

This.

I would only do that with gummies and sour skittles, because they always seem to feel as if they scuff your teeth when you bite them.

Yes, because it's so hot it softens solid steel.

Can it soften the unsoftenable?
It's not a microwave, bro.
