How To Lucid Dream

I went lucid again, I was able to hold it for ten or so minutes.  Didn't really do anything, though.  Just explored the dream world.  I wish I could do something more in my lucid dreams, I guess lucidity itself is it's own reward, but I feel like I could do so much more.


Also something I've noticed about DILDs is that, you kinda become 'lucid' a few seconds before you do the reality check, which I find kinda odd.

Today i went to the dentist and had to use laughing gas. the sensation is so funky and (although weird) Peaceful. I thought everything looked like a hypnagogic hallucination (dots, random colors). all of my senses were one for a while. it was weird.

The dreams are vivid enough so i can remember them completely, and feel things (like my foot squishing due to tiny shoes i had in one, i was lucid in this one) but enough to tell the difference between a dream and real life (without an RC, but i do an RC anyway)

In dreams, I have no control over anything, if i try to dream spin, nothing happens, if i try to create characters or objects, nothing happens, if i try to control characters and worlds, nothing happens, what am I doing wrong? In my dream i think to myself "spawn person name" and "spawn assault rifle" or something, but no matter what i have no control over dreams. What 2 do? What am I doing wrong?

You have to know it will happen.
For example, I had a dream last night where I walked through a wall because I knew I could do anything.

For you, you have to know that thinking "spawn assault rifle" will make an assault rifle spontaneously appear.

Knowing and thinking are two different things.
